![]() ![]() It's not some actual community project, it's one guy who tried to fix some stuff and attempted to label it as something community accepted, which it is not. I wasn't even aware of a critical rebuild. I might just have to re-install and hope for the best. I tried the OC and it crashed after twenty minutes, around four to six times in a row in different areas. I'm starting to think its my game in general now. renaming or your configuration files (nwn.ini?) and then starting the game and then loading your saves, could work. if it's not recent, then it could be something to do with the game itself. were you using DebugMode to try and sort the situation out? you can't save with DebugMode active, you have to turn it off first, or it will mess the save.Ĭheck the modified date on your saves. Johnnygoging: what? why? when were they last modified? the game shouldn't be touching your saves unless you tell it to. so it could be something like that.Ĭheck the modified date on your saves. anyway, eventually it fixed itself when I shut down and restarted the game I think. If I would move far enough away from him, he would fade in next to me, but still would just be prone. or he did, but he just dropped to the ground there. but, weirdly, he didn't respawn back at temple. ![]() Tomi got poisoned or something from a golem, and then it killed him. I had something like this happen to me in NWN1 during the OC in act 3. were you using DebugMode to try and sort the situation out? you can't save with DebugMode active, you have to turn it off first, or it will mess the save. what? why? when were they last modified? the game shouldn't be touching your saves unless you tell it to. I cannot find her.ĮDIT: OK, so I tried to reload all my saves this morning, and every single save I have is now corrupted. ![]() Maybe because I had no clue about trap and any strategies.Silentpayne: I did as you suggested(walking and using the ring), twice over just in case I missed something. I was collecting gear and building character with a final fight in mind, made op build of clearic/CoT/fighter to be able to slay any creature, had plenty of buffs, super gear and when I rushed into a chamber, just after a while boss walked into a trap and died without any explanation! To be honest my thought was "oh, it's all? well, it was fast". Was really surprised when Beholder just died without any my involvment. First of all, those lights do not look like a trap, so I had no idea it's there. It completly destroyed the feeling of being hero on a mission. Still cant get it, why super evil genious built a lethal trap inside his chamber and then jumped into it. Also, the trap does not look like something that should be to there. Id be curious if you have the same issue again.Īnyway, let me know and thanks for your feedback. So, I also just tested the final cut Scene, no issues, not sure why you had a crash, but you could go back to the last auto save and reload the fight and see if it does it again. nor has anyone else reported it up until now. Just saying!Īs for the game crashing at the ending, not sure why your crashed, that ending portal has been tested many times over, and I have never seen that happen before. Also, you don't have to force him into that area, you can fight it out until hes dead. And there is an effect of a spike trap that plays when hes in there. Originally posted by Dark:Hi, Do you even understand the original ending of Eye of the Beholder? The way the beholder dies or can die if you choose to fight him and force him into that death trap is exactly how its supposed to be.
